Kuala Lumpur / Siem Reap
Upon arrival at Siem Reap International Airport transfer to visit the Floating Villages of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Take a ride in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia and the largest in Asia. Here you’ll see plenty of examples of the Khmer way of life on the Tonle Sap. Return for lunch at local restaurant then check in hotel and free at leisure in the hotel. In the evening process to view sunset Sunset at Phnom Bakheng hill, one of the two hills dominating the plain of Angkor, from where you will have a spectacular view of the Western Baray and the surrounding plain. Dinner at local restaurant with Apsara dance show and overnight in Siem Reap. |

Siem Reap
Breakfast at hotel. Visit ancient city of Angkor Thom (12th century): the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, , the Phimeanakas, the Baphoun, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon process to visit Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in the area, as it has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Its appeal lies in the fact that, unlike the other monuments of Angkor, it has been left to be swallowed by the jungles, and looks very much the ways most of the monuments of Angkor appeared when European explorer first stumbled upon them. Lunch at local restaurant. After that proceed to visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodia flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat's five towers symbolize Meru's five peaks - the enclosing wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat, the ocean beyond, Dinner at local restaurant and overnight in Siem Reap. |

After breakfast at Hotel. Visit Cambodian Cultural Village, intended to introduce the visitor to Cambodian culture and history. Wax museum with scenes and figures from history. Fascinating 1/20th scales models of sites such as Phsar Thmey and the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh and the hills and temples of Oudong. Full scales models of a variety of Cambodian architectural types, including different styles of huts and home, hill tribe houses, pagoda and mosque. Live shows, traditional dance performances and music. Traditional Khmer wedding show twice per day. Process to visit Le Artisan D’angkor. Lunch at local restaurant.
